Some greyhounds detrain easily to live with other breeds of dog, cats and small furries. However, some don't.
Time and patience is the key with any rescued animal, especially one that has not lived in a house before.
Two 20 minute walks a day usually suffice to keep most greyhounds happy. A comfortable bed, toys and things to chew are also highly appreciated.
It goes without saying that dogs must have access to fresh water at all times.
We feed Buster a few handfuls of kibble (as a mixer) and raw meat (about 500g a day) split into two meals, morning and evening.
Care must be taken not to exercise a greyhound on a full stomach. Allow an hour or two to elapse before or after feeding.
Greyhounds are naturally lean dogs so well-padded dog-beds are best for them.
